The required first step for new Champions. Coaches evaluate readiness, effort, coachability, and program fit.

Off-Season Conditioning

AGES 7–18

Build the foundation before the season begins. Our performance-based program develops aerobic conditioning, speed mechanics, proper running form, track-and-field fundamentals, middle-distance endurance, strength, core stability, power, movement quality, mobility, race IQ, and confidence.

Compete

Competitive Track season

Structured coaching in track-and-field fundamentals, speed development, proper running form, block starts, and middle-distance training—with opportunities to compete at the National Junior Olympics, Adidas Nationals, New Balance Nationals, and Nike Nationals for Champions who qualify.

New athletes begin with a Blue Lightning Test-Drive Tryout. Based on their performance and overall evaluation during the Test-Drive, athletes may be invited to register for Off-Season Conditioning or one of our competitive seasons, including Indoor Track, Spring Track, and the Summer Championship Track Season.
